Magic Glass Fine Showcases

This Walt Disney showcase was constructed of the highest quality materials and designed to provide years of merchandising excellence.

An instruction manual was provided to familarize the buyer with the Enchanted Places display. It reviewed shipping, installation, lighting, mechanical parts, tips on cleaning and provides a schematic drawing to identify all working components.

Halogen light bulbs were used in this cabinet and there were two light switches located under the quirk on the left side of the base.

Cabinet Description

The four lights in the center of the ceiling are stationary. There are four lights located in each corner that are swivel-style directional lamps.

A plan-o-gram for identifying figurine placement was included with the instructions.

The lock at the bottom also serves as the door pull when the key is inserted.

  • The brass colored rotating pole is powered by a motor located in the base of the unit.
  • Set to rotate half way around once per minute.
  • The pole has been fitted with 42 slots with 12 holes on 2 sides and 9 holes on the other two sides.
  • Green-edged plexi-discs were designed to fit into the slots.
  • The motor housing the rotation is housed underneath the display chamber floor and can be accessed by removing the drawer.
  • The Walt Disney Enchanted Places logo box is made from true brass which is clear coated to prevent tarnishing.
  • The purple overlay has been silkscreened over brass and then engraved.
  • Only use a soft dry dust cloth to clean, do not use cleaners, soaps or abrasive solutions.
